Have you ever had one of those days that is going almost perfect? I mean it feels as if nothing or no one can steal your joy. Then it happens, the ‘Negative Nelly’, that person that believes in tit for tat, always prepared to go to war just to prove a point they believe is the truth.
In instances like these, you sometimes wish the world would open up and just take all the negativity away. However reality is, it never does. You have to face all that is happening and still try to find a way to maintain positivity within, while having to defend your reasons to someone that just is not open enough to accept them.

As service providers, we are often faced with challenging clients. Somehow we are expected to maintain the calm that we are not feeling in the moment and deal with the situation at hand. Though we usually hope that clients could be more understanding at times, the sad truth is that as humans, we often think of ourselves more than we think of others.

There is so much that goes in to the day of a service provider, more than the naked eyes can see. From a clients perspective, they expect perfection. From a techs perspective, providing that perfection is not that simple. There is more to running behind than you might think it is. A work day consists of multiple personalities, long hours, unscheduled changes and additions, product refills, indecisions, accepting payments and countless other things to name. Running a one man show is not an easy feat.

With all this being said, next time you have a scheduled appointment, be sure to keep in mind that things do come up, times might be adjusted, you just might be the cause of these changes.
